Yesterday, Lewis Brothers catered for what one of my closest friends said was the “…*best party I have ever organised.*”. This party was, in fact, a wake for my wife who was taken far to early in her life. I found Lewis Brothers via the school at which she worked, where the wake was being held.

To say they excelled and made it special would be an understatement.

The hot and cold food was plentiful, fresh, tasty, and was beautifully presented. The tea, coffee and wine was served efficiently, as was the champagne toast. There were a couple of special additions that I requested for the menu, and they were bought and delivered in great big bowls – Smarties, and pork scratchings from my wife’s favourite supplier.

I cannot recommend Lewis Brothers enough. I knew want I wanted, they interpreted my needs perfectly, and their expertise meant that there was one less thing for me to worry about.

Lewis Brothers…Catering executed perfectly, respectfully, with a fun twist. Everyone loved it, as did I. My wife would have loved it, and I think there is no better way I can recommend this wonderful company and the service they gave to me.

Thank you very much for the food you prepared for the guests a my ruby wedding celebration. Without exception, as they said ‘goodbye’. my friends and family commented enthusiastically about it. The Green Curry was particularly popular and so was the Mediterranean Vegetable. The sweets were very luscious. I noticed that the fruit salad and the trifle were the first to be finished, with that splendidly wicked gateaux following fast. Your tasty and nicely presented efforts enabled me to enjoy the party with our guess without worrying about the catering. I would recommend anyone to use your expertise.

Thank you for the part you played in making our wedding blessing so special. The food and service was fantastic, our guests are still talking about it. Fred you are so much more than the food. The service from you was 110%. You were always there at the end of the phone during the planning, to solve any problem that we had and you always came up ‘trumps’. You’re one special guy!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Christine and Louise for the wonderful Christmas supper and high standard of service provided to our party… everyone had a great time and as always, commented on how much they enjoyed the food.

The food was fantastic, we had many positive comments and no-one went hungry.

You all work well as a team and your approach to guests is friendly and professional. We could not fault what you did, so a BIG thank you as we appreciated all you did.

The whole event rans so smoothly, your staff were friendly and efficient, the food was lovely, with plently of choice for everyone and everything sorted. I still can’t work out how you manage to do everything to such high standards but still have time to make customers feel so special. I’m so sorry this has taken us so long to write, we just wanted to say thank you to you for doing the catering for our wedding reception, it was delicious, just what we wanted. The salmon was amazing – it was the perfect menu for a summer’s day. And not only that, but thank you for your advice beforehand about etiquette and speeches. It was great to have someone to rely on with a wealth of previous experience.

Finally, we want to thank you for dealing with some unexpected surprises. Barry remembers you using the back of paintballing cards as place names for our unexpected guests!

We are glad that we chose you as our caterer and recommend you to anyone hosting an event.

Just a note to wish you and your family all the very best for Christmas and to say a HUGE thank you for EVERYTHING that you did for us for our wedding reception at Taplins. We had a fantastic day and a huge part of that was down to you and your staff. We have recommended you to numerous people.
